General information
The beaches of Aruba are among the most beautiful in the world, which together are eleven kilometers long. Each beach has its own charm. All beaches, including those at the hotels, are freely accessible. However, the sun loungers and parasols on the beaches at the hotels are reserved for hotel guests. Even in high season the clean beaches offer plenty of space to enjoy the clear azure blue sea, the palms and the warm sunshine. The beaches on the north side of the island are not suitable for quiet sun worshipers. Also on the east side of the island the beaches look wild and rugged. This is due to the sharp wind from the Atlantic Ocean. There are 2 beaches on the east side that are worth a visit despite the distance. These are Rodgers Beach and Baby Beach.
On the south side of the island, on the other hand, you have the white beaches. Here are the hotels, restaurants and tourists and this is the place to be for beach lovers. The coastline is divided into two beaches: Eagle Beach and Palm Beach. Large hotels and luxury dominate the coastline here.
Arashi Beach
Arashi Beach is a white sandy beach. A perfect place for swimming and snorkeling.
Malmok Beach
Malmok Beach consists of a number of small sandy beaches between the otherwise rocky coast. These rocks are richly overgrown with corals and offer a good, sheltered environment for the many fish that live there. A nice place for snorkeling or diving.
Hadicurari
Hadicurari is also a white sandy beach with some pebbles here and there. The water is calm and shallow. This place is ideal for windsurfers. There is also a surf shop and a surf school nearby.
Palm Beach
At Palm Beach you will find a white sandy beach that stretches as far as the eye can see. Due to the presence of hotels right on the beach there is ample opportunity to buy a drink or snack.
Eagle Beach
On the coast of Eagle Beach the waves gently wind up against the kilometers of beach. A popular spot for water sports enthusiasts. The beach is very popular with the Arubans.
Manchebo Beach
Lovers of a strong wave can go to Manchebo Beach. This beach is the largest in Aruba.
Druif Beach
At Druif Beach the sea is a lot calmer. A great place for swimming.
Rodgers Beach
Rodgers Beach is a quiet white sandy beach. The reefs off the coast provide quiet bathing water.
Baby Beach
Children and less experienced swimmers can easily go to Baby Beach. The shallow sea bordered by reefs make it a very safe swimming place. Baby Beach is also an ideal place for snorkeling. Countless brightly colored fish swim among the reefs.
